McQuilling Services, LLC issued a report looking at the 27,500 Dwt global tanker fleet by sector and gauging expected changes in supply. The current fleet as a whole has grown by 25.7% since 1991, translating into a compound growth rate per annum of 1.65%. In contrast to this, McQuilling calls for supply growth of 7.43% of the global fleet, or 8.59% in Dwt terms, in 2005 alone.
